Level Switch NV14P

The Elniva NV14P is a fully mechanical diaphragm level switch for dry bulk materials. It mounts in the vessel wall and gives a volt-free signal when material reaches it — no electronics, no calibration, and unaffected by dust or build-up.

Use the NV14P for

• High or low level monitoring in silos and hoppers
• Overfill protection in conveyors, cleaning machines, dryers and weighing equipment

Typical materials: grain, seed, animal feed, sand, gravel, coal, wood pellets, granulates, plastic pellets and beans. The NV14 series is intended for heavier granular material.

Mounting

The NV14P has a flange with fixing holes and a rubber gasket, for flush mounting in thin vessel walls. The switch is accessible from inside the vessel. An air inlet with a sintered bronze filter compensates for pressure changes inside the housing.

Overload protection: diaphragm travel is limited to approximately 3–4 mm, so the internal parts cannot be damaged by high material pressure in the vessel.

Note: positive pressure in the vessel cannot be compensated. Diaphragm switches must not be used in pressure vessels.
