The Elniva NV10P-KM is the NV10P overflow protection switch fitted with a compensation diaphragm, allowing it to be mounted inside the conveyor or vessel. Rated IP65. Fully mechanical — no electronics, no calibration, and unaffected by dust or build-up.
Use the NV10P-KM for
- Overflow protection in screw conveyors, belt conveyors and elevators
- Damp or heavily dusty environments requiring IP65
- Positions where the switch must sit inside the equipment and a conventional air inlet would not work
Typical materials: grain, animal feed, wood pellets, chips, granulates, plastic pellets and powders.
Important: the NV10 series is intended for conveyors as overflow protection. For level monitoring in silos and hoppers, choose the NV14P or NV14P-KM.
How it works
The switch operates as a diaphragm-actuated contact. A microswitch is controlled by a rubber diaphragm clamped between a retaining ring and a pressure plate. The small-diameter diaphragm requires a distinct force to actuate the microswitch, so it triggers only when material builds up against it.
Overload protection: diaphragm travel is limited to approximately 3–4 mm.
Note: positive pressure cannot be compensated. Diaphragm switches must not be used in pressure vessels.
